Goodreads Synopsis: Isabelle Scott and Mirabelle Monroe are still reeling from the revelation that they share more than just the roof over their heads. The media has pounced on their story, and while Izzie and Mira have each put on a happy public face, someone is leaking their true feelings to the press. It seems as if the world is watching their every move, but at least the girls have each other.
With cotillion season right around the corner, however, Izzie and Mira have barely had time to process their newfound sisterhood. Mira has dreamed of making her debut in a gorgeous white gown forever--now if only she had an escort... Izzie, meanwhile, is still struggling to find her place in Emerald Cove, which seems ever more impossible with EC mean girls, young and old, trying to keep her down. As cotillion preparations heat up, there are dance steps to learn, manners to perfect... and secret initiations to complete?
It's time for the gowns to go on and the gloves to come off.

Winter White is Jen Calonita's second book in her Belles series and I devoured Winter White in a day! Her books are always so easy to pick up but hard to put down, and Winter White was exactly that. I liked seeing how Mira and Izzie were put through more choices, deal with heartbreak, and finding who you are despite the past. I am definitely going to pick up the next book, The Grass is Always Greener on The Other Side soon. Winter White was amazing and I have huge expectations for the next book!

With a stunning revelation in Belles, sisters Mira and Isabelle share more than they ever knew. Isabelle believe she doesn't belong in Emerald Cove, where the rich kids reside and even the comforts of Harborside don't comfort her. With a mysterious person leaking a Mira and Izzie's true feeling to the press, both wonder the dirty little secrets of Emerald Cove. Mira and Isabelle were even better in Winter White, than in Belles! Even with an alternate, 3rd person POV, Jen manages to hooked the reader with lies and secrets throughout the book. In Belles we saw Izzie's fitting in, in Winter White the stakes are higher with Cotillion and the plotting of Savanga Ingram. I love how we also see other great characters like Dylan, Brayden's sister and more of Mira and Izzie's friends. The tension was perfect and the plotting was great! There's was never a moment that made me bored.

In Winter White, there was definitely some backstabbing and lies that made the book even better. It's that type of book that gets you racing through the end! I loved the characters, they were so relatable and engaging, you can easily be in their shoes. Izzie was just one of those great, semi rebellious characters while Mira standed up for herself more and made better choices. Winter White was one of best books I read this year and it was such a perfect blend of backstabbing, lies, but also learning about who your friends and enemies are. Pick up Belles soon, it's a book you won't regret :)
