Now that Gemma holds the key to breaking the siren curse, the stakes have never been higher. At last, a future with those she loves—and a romance with Alex—is close enough to touch...but not if Penn has anything to say about it. Penn is more determined than ever to have Daniel for her own and to destroy Gemma and Harper along the way, and Penn always gets what she wants. Now a final explosive battle is about to begin, and the winner will take everything Gemma holds dear.

My First Reaction picking this up
I was so happy to receive Elegy for review since I loved the Watersong series so much! Just reading the synopsis I was going to devour this, and Amanda Hocking definitely delivers in an explosive finale. Elegy was a perfect ending with tons of action, funny moments, and heart racing moments. Do not miss this one at all!
The best thing I love about the Watersong series is how light and easy it start and Elegy was the struck the balance even as a last book. Elegy picks up where Tidal ending, tensions are heating up in Capri as Gemma and Harper are busy on destroying the scroll and Penn's ever tempting attraction toward Daniel. The pacing of Elegy was done great, I knew where I was in the story even if I picked up other books and the characters were even better in this book! Marcy was such a fun and witty character, I loved her! Her remarks were so fun to read and she has this great personality throughout the whole series. Daniel went through a lot in Elegy. His relationship with Harper was tested against Penn and as for Gemma she's finding real love with Alex. The cast of characters are the best part of the watersong series. Have great characters you get an amazing story, no doubt, the Watersong series was one of the best this year.
Elegy had a depth and complexity than it's preceders. There's the mystery of the scroll, and deciphering the words and finding ways to destroy the sirens. It definitely gave the book a great mystery and the explosive battle towards the end was killer. The action was off the charts and I love seeing Gemma embrace her inner siren to fight against the sirens.
It was just wow.
Elegy was an explosive ending to the watersong series. Filled with a action, heartbreaking choices, Elegy was one of the best books I read this year! I definitely can't wait for any new Amanda Hocking books and I know she'll definitely deliver :) Pick up the Watersong series this summer!
