Follow Friday (#28) - Bookselling Time!

Follow Friday is Hosted @ The Parajunkee

Today's Question: Bookselling Time: Go to your biggest bookcases. Go to the second shelf from the top and pick out the sixth book from the left. Hardsell that book to us – even if you haven’t read it or if you hated it. (if you don’t have bookcases, don’t have six books on one shelf, etc, pick a book at random)
My Answer:

I got Bloodlines by Richelle Mead! What a coincidence and I know I can definitely sell this book to anyone! I loved the book a lot personally and I think any reader who loved VA should pick this up instantly. I has the perfect mix of action and suspense along with amazing characters and it's perfectly paced. I think anyone would devour this book!

Follow Friday (#27) - Usual/New Things in 2013

Follow Friday is Hosted @ The Parajunkee
Today's Question: Tell us at least one new or unusual thing you’ve done in 2013.
 My Answer:
Wow, it that time to see where you are with blogging, seeing how far you challenges yourself, your stats, I really like this question!

1.) I joined the Teen Board - It was a great decision to finally be in contact with other readers, especially ones that were my age. It was such a fun experience, especially the He Said/ She Said Feature, this is where I get my manuscripts!

2.) Balance between School & Blogging - I finally learned how to balance school and work with blogging during my sophomore year, and I'm so happy to learn tricks to move faster and stay organize. Plus, I learned how to edit and design which was great :)

3.) I meet some amazing authors at the LA Festival of Book - It might not be a new or unusual thing, but I've been going for the past 2 years and I loved it! I also was more talkative with publishers and took great photos :)

My Answer:
I am super excited for this week's FF! Tagging bloggers and commenting? That is both perfect and fun! I'm definitely want to get high numbers somewhere around the 30s! Now..time time to hop off and head to some of my daily blogs and new ones. I might be stopping to your's!

Follow Friday (#25) - Embarrassed to Admit

Follow Friday is Hosted @ The Parajunkee

Today's Question:
What book are you embarrassed to admit you LOVED? (try to think beyond Twilight).

My Answer:
Wow, this one has to be a tough one! Right now all I'm thinking of is the Twilight series, but I know there has to be a book in the back of my mind! I might have to say The Selection by Kiera Cass! The cover was definitely not a man type of book, but after finishing it I loved it a lot. I mean not many guys with pick this up but I did and I don't regret it!

P.S I still can't get over the cover

Follow Friday (#24) - Broken Up Series

Follow Friday is Hosted @ The Parajunkee
Today's Question: Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why?

My Answer: Wow..this one is a hard one since I honestly have to look back at my shelf and see if there's any series I broke up with. I would say Lia Habel's Dearly Departed series and C.C Hunter's Shadow Fall series. I ended up reading the first book for both series, and I still don't know if I should continue since I was wanting more inspiration and spark to the story.

Dearly, Departed (Gone With the Respiration, #1)Born at Midnight (Shadow Falls, #1)

But I will try to pick both series up maybe this summer?

Follow Friday (#23) - Sneak Peeks!

Today's Question:
Give us a sneak! What are you reading? Tell us about a fun or fail scene in your current read

Right now I am so exhausted! I just finished a whole week of CST testing and it was both exhausting and tirng! It was basically a no blog week for me but since, it's now done, I can update the blog like I usually do :) Right now, I'm reading The Last Academy by Anne Applegate and Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone. I'm really mixed on The Last Academy! I just don't know how it's going to in the end when I finish it and it wasn't that type of academy book you expect, but be sure to check out my blog stop for it next week. I just started Time Between Us and I'm loving it! I can't wait to see how it goes and it looks like a good spring read :)

Also,
If You Need A Blog Button, I CAN Help you! For any meme, giveaway, or button I can do it! Just shoot me and email: naruto100200(at)hotmail(dot)com

Follow Friday (#22) - BEA, ALA, and RT Time! + Button?

Today's Question:
We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

My Answer:
I'm so jealous of all the people heading to BEA, ALA, and RT! They get to meet a whole bunch of authors, publishers, and books. ITS AMAZING! But luckily  I get a taste of it but here in California we have LA's Festival of Books at USC. I've been going for 2 year and I love everything about it! All the book tents, author panels, food, and the experience of just walking around it amazing! And it's this month it happens on April 20 and 21. I'm so excited to meet more authors like Cassandra Clare *Dies*, Lemony Snicket, Veronica Roth, Gayle Forman, etc.

Also, since I started a new design blog, would anyone want a button for a meme, giveaway, or blog button? Send me an email at naurto100200(at)hotmail(dot)com I'm excited to work with anyone for a perfect button

Follow Friday (#21) - Loving a Book You Hated

Today's Question: Have you ever read a book that you thought you would hate — ? Did you end up hating it? Did you end up loving it? Or would you never do that?

I love it when you expect a book to be super sucky and turns out to be so amazing! This happened with Bloodlines by Richelle Mead, yeah, I'm not joking. I thought it would be just like VA but toned down and who would read that? But oh no, it was so freaking amazing!

Follow Friday (#21) - Emotional Scenes!

My Answer:
Tell us about the most emotional scene you’ve ever read in a book – and how did you react?

My Answer:

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)
I have to go with Unravel Me this week :) There was so much emotion all over the page and it was so crazy! Juliette goes through so much, more than what she goes through in Shatter Me and it was exhilarating. All I had to do was hold my breath, flip faster, and avoid closing the book!

I was just like:

Follow Friday (#20) - Guilty Pleasures!

Follower Friday is Hosted @ Parajunkee
Today's Question:
What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?
My Answer:  I know a lot of people have a lot of guilty pleasures when it comes to reading! Is it me or when I first read this, my thoughts for everyone who participates would say Fifty Shades of Grey! Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging the book but it was something I just noticed. :)

I would say my guilty pleasure when reading YA, which I mostly do, it's a really suspenseful mystery or one of those amazing contemporaries like The Look by Sophia Bennett or Belles by Jen Calonita! But anything that's unique, unlike anything I read is a guilty pleasure!

Yeah..I love those books...

Follow Friday (#19) - Reading Spots!

Follower Friday is Hosted @ Parajunkee

Today's Question:
Activity! Hopefully warm weather for most of us is here soon…so tell us about your favorite outdoor reading spot. Or take a picture.

 My Answer:
I live in California and the weather is super hot! This whole week was 90 degrees in the afternoons but cold in the mornings! But my house was completely cold so it was strange and great all at the same time! I usually read in my room or anywhere I can get ahead on my books. I don't have a camera with me so I can't take a picuture but I can give you my reaction to this weather:

When I come home I do this

Then..when this heat is just too much:

Follow Friday (#18) - The Bloggers Confess!

Follower Friday is Hosted @ Parajunkee

Today's Question:
Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you’ve done, that as you gained more experience you were like — oops?

 My Answer:
The dreaded blogger confessions! Well, before I started my blog, I already had a bookclub on Goodreads, so I easily new how to manage and organize. But as I got better as a blogger and the club grew I was like oops..why did I start the club? But it does pay off and I never regretted my choice. There were also times were I asked publishers for review copies and was declined, but I wanted to go big and ask them straight then just the authors. I definitely learned a lot from sending in requests too :) Also, don't be afraid to go out of the box and do something daring, young bloggers!

Follower Friday (#15) - Mardi Gras Mayham!

Follower Friday is Hosted @
Parajunkee

Today's Question:
Happy Mardi Gras! If they were throwing the HOTTEST books off of a Mardi Gras float — what would you do to have them throw to you…?

Ooh! First off, all I could say that a lot of this would happen:

I definitely want a lot of 2013 ARC's to be thrown! Like The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead, Divergent (#3), Sever by Lauren DeStefano..but all I want to to definitely get some amazing books no matter what I have to do like Ariana Grande (the gif). Plus thrown in swag I'll for sure get into the fight!! *Gets excited and start throwing a chair*

And then I'm going to be like:

Follower Friday (#14) - Best Last Night Read!

Follower Friday is Hosted @
Parajunkee

Pretty Crooked (Pretty Crooked, #1)Today's Question: What is the last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish it?

I'll have to go with Pretty Crooked by Elisa Ludwig! It was laugh- out loud hilarious, addictive to read, and it was a type of book that was just so perfect  Willa's adventures as a modern day Robin Hood was so cool! Pick it up ASAP!

Follower Friday (#13) - Supernatural Creatures

Follower Friday is Hosted @ Parajunkee

Today's Question: IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ONE SUPERNATURAL BEING/CREATURE TO REALLY EXISTS WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY? EX. FAE { SUBMITTED BY @SEEINGNIGHT }
My Answer: I really like this week's question! I would love to be a werewolf! It so cool to change from human to this beast in a second, and you get all these abilities to sense danger, smell scents faster, and run fast. ooh but a zombie would be a cool idea also. I'll have to go to shapeshifter for this one! I mean they can practically turn into any paranormal creature.

I mean I can't pick!

-Host More Giveaways: I really want to do more giveaways! I'll be participating in more hops too!
-Start Up A Design Studio: I actually already started to do this one! I already made the blog and now I'm just customizing it. I'm doing buttons right now and later on blog designs :)
-Host More Events: Last year, I did 2 BIG events - The Golden Lily Trivia and Last Reads of 2012 Readathon, which were both really fun and exciting to do with bloggers!

-Be On My Goodreads Club More: If you guys didn't now, I also have a book club on Goodreads called YABC! It's up to over 1000 members and is really fun and stressful to keep up! Join HERE!

Also, my number one goals is:
DON'T LET BLOGGING TAKE CONTROL OF MY LIFE.  HAVE FUN!

Follower Friday is Hosted @ Parajunkee
Today's Question: What is the last book that made you cry? Tell us about the scene…

My Answer: Probably the last book that made me cry was Insurgent by Veronica Roth! It was such a whirlwind of emotions and feeling plus heartbreak I was cluthing the book so  much! Tris and Four were killing me in that book! I couldn't remember the scene but morstly the whole book was an emotional rollercoaster!

Follower Friday is Hosted by the amazing Parajunkee!

This Week's Question:  What book(s) are you reading right now? What do you think of it?

Right now, I'm reading Born at Midnight by C.C Hunter and Firelight by Sophie Jordan! I'm again trying to read Born at Midnight since the others look good and still have those for review, but I'll see where I go. :) Firelight is okay. Really...I was kinda disappointed about reading it. It's okay so far I'm just really hoping it get better, hearing lots of bad reviews on it though :/
