I have to go with Unravel Me this week :) There was so much emotion all over the page and it was so crazy! Juliette goes through so much, more than what she goes through in Shatter Me and it was exhilarating. All I had to do was hold my breath, flip faster, and avoid closing the book!

Why I'm Waiting For It: There's nothing to say! I loved Grave Mercy a lot and I so can't wait to pick this one up! Even though it's a new character by same world, I can't wait to grab my hands on this book and see how it goes! I love historical fiction! No doubt, Dark Triumph will be amazing. :)

Wildwood was such a magical and stunning read! I practically devoured all 541 pages in one day and if a book does that, I LOVE IT! Wildwood was no expecption with it's great heroine, magical world of alive animals, and the fresh concept. I kept turning the pages so eager to find out what happens and when the ending came I was happy. It's great to say that Wildwood is one of my favorite books of all time now :D

Prue Mckeel was a perfect protagonist for Wildwood. She had a direction to rescue her brother from a murder of crows that took him and she had drive to her that was interesting. But the really magic was the world Colin Meloy wrote with such skill in its details. There were all sorts of cool characters, like Owl Rex, Richard, and so much more. And the idea that they were animals and some human was a perfect blend. There are also so cool illustrations in throughout the book that just made the experience even better.

The plot of Wildwood was great too. Prue went through a lot and the reader got a glimpse of the way Wildwood worked. Even Curtis had some great moments also. The duo POV also was done great. It had a flow to it and what was great was that it wasn't just thrown in there. It actually made the book have depth and made it seem much longer, which in this case actually worked! 

Overall, I loved Wildwood! It was a fresh book perfect for any MG reader to an Adult/ Young Adult reader. With it's great heroine, enchanting world, and a fun cast of characters, Wildwood is now my favorite book! Pick this up if you want to try a new MG series or looking for a thick book! Oooh, and there's a second one for a planned out trilogy which I'm so excited to pick up!

Whoa! Spring Break is over for me! Today is the last day I have till I have to wake up early for school on Monday but I did so much the whole week! I really don't want to head back but sadly we all have too! Spring Break was definitely a tease of summer! Plus, I knocked out like 4 books this week which is so amazing and wrote reviews for two of them! *cheers*

I already read both and loved everything about it! I'll be posting up my review of Wildwood next week. It was so good and even for a 500 page book, I finished it in one sitting, it was my cup of tea for sure :)

The Look was one of the best realistic,contemporaries that I read in 2013! I devoured it in one day and I loved everything about it! The Look was so amazing, touching, and definitely has a message to say to it's readers on both cancer and modeling. I can't wait to see what else Sophia has in store, since her writing was so gripping and real!

Ted and Ava are sisters having beauty in their own ways. Ted, the main voice of the book, was a great protagonist! I could relate to her a lot and she was real. Ted has the "look" from a modeling scout on the street, while Ava has cancer. The thing with The Look was the characters, especially Ted, because it was a character driven book. But Ted did prove herself a lot in this book. She goes through self-doubt with her modeling, criticism  and a sister who is supper supportive of her but has cancer. Ava was great too, I was expecting drama between them but I didn't get it which was great! 

The message The Look had to offer about image, cancer, and modeling was real. There was something more that Sophia does in the plot that expands it more and it had me turning the pages faster and faster. The characters, even Ted and Ava's parents, were a great cast! There wasn't any flaw to them at all. Sophia manages them to flow easily and it was great. The Look is the type of book to pick up if you get an amazing YA contemp to read!

Overall, The Look was an amazing and beautiful read! It's definitely a book I would want to re-read in the summer and both the author and the book are one of my fav's! Pick up The Look ASAP! It won't be a miss!

Today's Question: 
What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?

My Answer:  I know a lot of people have a lot of guilty pleasures when it comes to reading! Is it me or when I first read this, my thoughts for everyone who participates would say Fifty Shades of Grey! Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging the book but it was something I just noticed. :)

I would say my guilty pleasure when reading YA, which I mostly do, it's a really suspenseful mystery or one of those amazing contemporaries like The Look by Sophia Bennett or Belles by Jen Calonita! But anything that's unique, unlike anything I read is a guilty pleasure!

Yeah..I love those books...

Let me just say that I finally got my computer running perfectly fine and now I can finally do so much in the blogging world! Now, let me get onto my review :)

Legacy of The Clockwork Key was completely a book that I didn't have much high expectations for in terms of the steam punk/Victorian aspect compared to other popular ones like The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. But wow..I was blown away in the end and it definitely set me expectations for the next book higher! Legacy of The Clockwork Key was an amazing steam punk with twist and turn with a touch of romance in this Victorian set novel. 

Legacy of The Clockwork Key had a beginning that I wasn't a big fan of. It felt kinda rushed and I maybe a prologue chapter with Meg and the fire could have helped the plot flow much better? And there wasn't much of a spark with Meg in the first few chapters but as it moved it turned into a bigger mystery of Meg, her family, and a secret society in London. The plot was both intriguing, action - packed, and helped a lot with Meg's character. After a few more chapters I grew to love Meg a lot and I could easily relate with her feelings since Kristin Bailey wrote with such simplicity in an intricate setting.

The plot was one of the best part of this book along with some romance!

There are also other aspects of The Legacy of The Clockwork Key I loved. The cool inventions like a Leviathan, the metal plates, and huge metal maze. I wished it could have be more described so it would have been easier to see how it looked. There's also a guy whom Meg starts to have feelings for. When they meet and started going on this journey I was just liked. "Who..is that insta love Kristin Bailey is giving us?" And it kinda felt like it. Meg turned to him and asked for help and then you just fall in love and get whisked in this mystery in London? *Hits head* More plot development could have been done her. It also had a MG feel to it but it was just probably me :)

Over all, Kristin Bailey weaves a beautiful debut steam punk novel that takes you to the even enchanting world of London and you'll love all the mystery in this! I'm a big sucker for mysteries and if you do you'll love this especially the romance and action! Pick this up now! I loved it!

Wow..Richelle Mead is so freaking amazing and The Indigo Spell was not a exception at all! The Indigo Spell was completely amazing, thrilling, and this book proves just how skilled she can create a magical world! I COMPLETETLY loved The Indigo Spell and all my expectations were blown away in this third installment of Bloodlines. I devoured this in one day!



Sydney proves herself so much more in The Indigo Spell especially with all the choices she faces in the book and coming true to her Alchemist beliefs. The Indigo Spell starts off with Sydney heading to a Moroi wedding and I thought it was cool to see it from Sydney's perspective. And of course Adrien is there with her and she still has a mixture of feelings from what happened between them in The Golden Lily, but after that there's so much more that goes on.A mysterious man named Marcus, who is an ex-alchemist, her alchemist beliefs, Adrien..Adrien..Adrien, and Mrs. Tellwigger motives. It's kicked up way more and Sydney has so much more spunk, fun, and there's lots of Adrien and Sydney scenes!!! *screams excited* And now Sydney knows she is worthy of the Adrien because they are perfect for each other!!



Another great aspect of The Indigo Spell was that there's no dreaded love triangle even with an addition of Marcus. The cast of characters in the book were so fun to be with! There are some funny scenes with Angeline and Jill, Sydney and Adrien, and more suspenful and complex scenes when Sydney talks to Marcus. Marcus's appearance makes the plot thicken. He was really cool to see and the way he told Sydey more about her tattoo of the golden lily was interesting! He gives Sydney and the reader a lot to think about. Also Mrs.Telliweger was great in this book! I love her personality more and more and the things she makes Sydney do with magic was cool (espcially all the spells she does) and a mission she sets her up with. Throw in action, a witch, and Marcus you get The Indigo Spell!

Overall, The Indigo Spell was such an amazing book! I loved everything about it and devoured it in one day, so that means it's great right?! Oooh, if you love Adrien and Sydeny you see them more in this book working like partners in crime! *nods head* I LOVED everything about this and can't wait for The Fiery Heart coming out this year in November! Is it me or she writes fast? But I JUST WANT THE NEXT BOOK!! Pick this one up ASAP!

Dauled by Elise Chapman was one of those lesser-known dystopians books compared to others like Divergent, Wither, and The Hunger Games and I had really high hopes for this one despite all the low ratings and review. After reading it, I really liked it a lot! Dualed was fast - paced, heart pounding, and a satisfying dystopian! Lots of people should know this book more! It had lots of potential for the next book to be even better *crosses fingers*

 

Most people usually pick up books for the tag lines on the cover or inside, by bloggers or publishers and this one was described as The Hunger Games meets Matched, was another factor that made me super excited to pick this one up! And to be honest I had pretty high expectations for this and it did deliver in most parts. West Grayer, a 15 year old girl, lives in Kersh. But her society is different. Before their 20th birthday, they have to kill their Alts or Alternatives. The Alts look exactly the same in appearance and you have to be the worthy one. The whole idea of fighting yourself was so cool, no doubt and it's something you either have to take as fresh and new or old and unexciting.

 

Elise Chapman wastes no time building her world since thew first page. I loved that how I read the whole book they way society was described flowed, and it wasn't an attack of a full on list of what goes on like other dystopians! One of the biggest problems I had was with West. She had loads of potential for an outstanding character but feel flat. You get a sense of her rebellious, out witted character but few chapters in she changes a lot and it was no flowing with my or with the storyline. And we get that "I want to safe the people I love but I'm afraid," then "This is too much.I risked a lot but for what."this was one of the biggest problems. I always wanted a little more characters that went with West on her journey than just Chord. West always makes it clear, like a lot of times, she doesn't want to cause pain to other people.

 

 

Overall, Dualed was full of promise in it's premise and fresh idea but fell flat on characterization and the main character. Dualed was also that type of book that describes a lot in action and if you skip or miss a page you forget what's going and it's a whirlwind of thoughts! I did happen to be so carefully read this! The writing is also skilled, smooth, and lyrical at times! Pick up Dualed soon!

I live in California and the weather is super hot! This whole week was 90 degrees in the afternoons but cold in the mornings! But my house was completely cold so it was strange and great all at the same time! I usually read in my room or anywhere I can get ahead on my books. I don't have a camera with me so I can't take a picuture but I can give you my reaction to this weather:

Why I'm Waiting For it: I really love the whole storyline behind this book! And the cover is super quirky and cool! Also, is it me or it has a bit of Toddlers and Tiaras? OI really can't wait to post up my review for this one! :)
