Goodreads Synopsis: Zoe is free. She has escaped the enslavement of the Community, disconnected from the hardware that had controlled her every thought and emotion, and evaded capture by the Chancellor intent on killing her. She is finally free, but she is far from safe.
Zoe and Adrien hide themselves from detection at the Foundation, an academy that trains teen glitchers to fight in the Resistance movement. Together, Zoe and her new team of superhuman fighters must risk their lives to rescue other glitchers and humans from the Chancellor's control. Challenges abound at every turn, and Adrien, who has become silent, distant, and tormented by his visions of the future, only adds to the growing certainty of defeat. But worst of all, as Zoe's team fights against impossible odds, distrust and betrayal leads to the terrible discovery that their greatest threat could already be lurking behind the safe walls of the Foundation.
Full of high-adrenaline action and shocking twists, Heather Anastasiu's Override is an exciting continuation of this popular young adult trilogy.

From Goodreads
Override is even better, darker, and twisted than Glitch and I LOVED it! Heather Anastasiu pushes the boundaries in Override more and it was great seeing how it wasn't as focused on romance, but some kick - ass action! Tensions were rising and the stakes are higher for Zoe and Adrien.
Zoe and Adrien escaped the Community and their taking refuge at the Foundation. She meets more people like Xona and Ginni, it was great seeing more people, yet it isn't so much you lost track. Both Adrien and Zoe develop so much more and I was impressed on how pretty light this book was, even with it being sci - fi, so good job Heather! Ginni, had to be one of my favorite characters! She's bubbly and funny and it made the book more fun to read too. Plus, she has the power to track people down. Amazing right?
Heather definitely knows how to writes amazing action scenes, especially the ending which was crazy! I was able to actually see them come alive in my mind and it was blown away! We also get to see more of Zoe's telekinesis and Adrien's visions, which pose a threat to everyone. Glitchers and "powers" are explained a bit more and it refreshed my memory on them. The sequel was better than the first book for sure! It was so great to see such a amazing series in YA that strikes a balance between a book that is suspenseful, sci - fi, and dystopian!
Jennifer Lawrence :)
Now, the romance part of Override was great since it wasn't a HUGE part of the novel like most YA books. Things were at stake for Zoe and Adrien it was cool seeing how Zoe raised up and took the situation into her own hands. And that thing Heather did with Adrien was crazy! You'll definitely want to pick Override up because of it! I honestly didn't see it coming at all! Override was Glitch with even better characters, deeper plots, and a bigger cast of characters that don't weigh down the book but make it light and fresh! I loved it and pick this up now!
Find Glitch On:
Book #3
Great review! I did enjoy this one more than Glitch though, since there wasn't much focus on the romance. I just can't get into Zoe and Adrien as a couple. However, I do agree that it was awesome to see all of the different abilities. It was probably my favorite aspect.
