Waiting on Wednesday (#53) - The Haven by Carol Lynch Williams

Waiting on Wednesday is Hosted by Jill @ Breaking The Spine

The Haven

Goodreads Summary: For the teens at The Haven, the outside world, just beyond the towering stone wall that surrounds the premises, is a dangerous unknown. It has always been this way, ever since the hospital was established in the year 2020. But The Haven is more than just a hospital; it is their home. It is all they know. Everything is strictly monitored: education, exercise, food, and rest. The rules must be followed to keep the children healthy, to help control the Disease that has cast them as Terminals, the Disease that claims limbs and lungs—and memories.

But Shiloh is different; she remembers everything. Gideon is different, too. He dreams of a cure, of rebellion against the status quo. What if everything they’ve been told is a lie? What if The Haven is not the safe place it claims to be? And what will happen if Shiloh starts asking dangerous questions?

Why I'm Waiting For It: I honestly really like the cover. It's eye-catching and I love blue and it goes so well with the plot of the book. I'm really waiting for get this on my hands because it sounds amazing (the Terminals, The Haven) I want to pick it up! But has anyone noticed a book called Haven by Kristi Cook that came out in 2011? Could that be the trend for 2014?

New book? But similar title and aspect?

Anyway, I cannot wait for this one and I like the cover a lot!

The Haven by Carol Williams is hitting shelves on March 4, 2014

Welcome February + TBR Pile

We are finally in February! It's one of the best months for every student blogger because of all the three day weekends we live for! Honestly without them, we would be so dead and tired of school and it's also my birthday month so I'm excited :)

I am still looking for any authors and bloggers or even readers who would want to donate for my birthday bash OR Blogaversay Bash! It can be anything from YA books to homemade bracelets (I have loads!)

I also have a BIG Pile of books to tackle through this month:

The Book of Blood and ShadowThe Little Android (Lunar Chronicles, #2.5)Frozen (Heart of Dread, #1)

Truly, Madly, DeadlyCatching JordanBlaze (or Love in the Time of Supervillains)

 These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1)

I do hope to get through these all, especially reading through my iPhone (which is my obsession! LOL I cannot go a day without it! Who else has this?)

In addition, I will be doing a new meme called "What's In My Playlist" a weekly meme where I share songs that I've been listening to for that week or any songs I'm loving! So if you have any feedback for this tell me! :)

Happy Reading!
