Stunning Historical Fiction: Grave Mercy-Robin LaFevers

Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1)Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
Date Released:  April 3rd 2012
Publisher:  Houghton Mifflin Harcourt
Pages:  549 pages
Date Read: May 29,2012
Format: Hardcover
Source: Won from Mikayla over @ Kismet Kayla
Goodreads Synopsis:  Why be the sheep, when you can be the wolf?

Seventeen-year-old Ismae escapes from the brutality of an arranged marriage into the sanctuary of the convent of St. Mortain, where the sisters still serve the gods of old. Here she learns that the god of Death Himself has blessed her with dangerous gifts—and a violent destiny. If she chooses to stay at the convent, she will be trained as an assassin and serve as a handmaiden to Death. To claim her new life, she must destroy the lives of others.

Ismae’s most important assignment takes her straight into the high court of Brittany—where she finds herself woefully under prepared—not only for the deadly games of intrigue and treason, but for the impossible choices she must make. For how can she deliver Death’s vengeance upon a target who, against her will, has stolen her heart?

Tagline: "Why be the sheep when you can be the wolf?"

I was completely hooked on Grave Mercy just my reading the great tagline! I mean who would want to be the whimpy sheep while you can be a wolf? I would totally be one! :D Just like a awesome tagline, Grave Mercy will hooked you on its action, fiesty heroine, and unexpected romance! Just WOW!

Ismae escaped the bruilty of an abusive, arranged marriage only to have a destiny as an assasin to do the bidding of Death Himself. She is sent to the Convennt to learn the ropes of seducution and killing to be ready for her and maybe even ger heart. Ismae know she is sired by Death Himself and she can't disappoint no matter what her heart wants. She is taken to the high courts of Britany where she is to protect Anna of Brittany from France and to see how things go in the royal courts. Ismae finds herself drawn closer to the Baron and half-brother of Anna, Gavriel Duval. As the clocks ticks, she is emeshed in a web of secrets, lies, and betrayls.
“... while I am Death's daughter and walk in His dark shadow, surely the darkness can give way to light sometimes.”
Grave Mercy was one of my anticpated books of 2012 and it did deliver despite some slow parts and me trying to remember who was who throughout the whole book. :P I loved the characters, the plot, the action was STUNNING, and the romance just made it a little better! :)

Ismae was by far this year one of the best heronie I read! How cool is an girl that can kill a man with posion, seduction, and daggers? Amazing! Plus if she sees a marque, a sign from Death that she must kill that person she totally does it with hesitation. Also, Duval was great with Ismae. There romance was totally unexpected. It wasn't really a focus on the book but Robin LaFevers still kept so enchanted by it. In my opinion, she did a amazing job in the romance! *claps

I loved how the Covenat worked! You have Ismae's sisters that specify in a type of killing. You have the abbess the head of the Convent and the other sisters that train Ismae to do all sorts of killing and death. Who wouldn't want to do that? *drops hand down* If I had to say something bad was that at times there was little backround and slow parts, but once you pass that you'll love this book! *nods* Which would give it 4 stars.

Grave Mercy was a fresh take on historical fiction with sharp characters and unexpected romance. I was totally engrossed in the story even the romance! The action scenes were AMAZING and brilliant. Ooh Robin LaFevers, I so want the next book coming in 2013, Dark Truimph with Sybella as the main character since I liked her a lot despite the fact we never seen her a lot. O_O

Eerie and Creepy: The Sumoning-Kelley Armstrong

The Summoning (Darkest Powers, #1)The Summoning by Kelly Armstrong
Date Released: July 1st 2008
Publisher:  HarperCollins
Pages: 390 pages
Date Read: June 19, 2012
Format: Paperback
Source: Bought From Tj-Maxx :)
Goodreads Synopsis:  After years of frequent moves following her mother’s death, Chloe Saunders’s life is finally settling down. She is attending art school, pursuing her dreams of becoming a director, making friends, and meeting boys. Her biggest concern is that she’s not developing as fast as her friends are. But when puberty does hit, it brings more than hormone surges. Chloe starts seeing ghosts–everywhere, demanding her attention. After she suffers a breakdown, her devoted aunt Lauren gets her into a highly recommended group home.

At first, Lyle House seems a pretty okay place, except for Chloe’s small problem of fearing she might be facing a lifetime of mental illness. But as she gradually gets to know the other kids at the home–charming Simon and his ominous, unsmiling brother Derek, obnoxious Tori, and Rae, who has a “thing” for fire–Chloe begins to realize that there is something that binds them all together, and it isn’t your usual “problem kid” behaviour. And together they discover that Lyle House is not your usual group home either…

My Review #1

WOW! The Summoning was so so good! No doubt, Kelley Armstrong is my favorite author! I devoured this book in a day and I'm all up on posting my review! I absolutelty can't wait for The Awakening and I'm hating on myself for not hoping onto her book train! *sobs* I'm freaking hungry for the next book!
I'M FREAKING HUNGRY.

15 year-old Chloe Saunders sees ghost and they see her. She's in an art school, wanting to be a director, and waiting to met a guy  but all that changes when she sees a fiery janitor who chasses her around the school that seemed so real but to others she looked like a freak. She is shipped off to Lyle's House a house for trouble teens just Chloe but more than meets the eye in this creepy house! The house was really creepy and I so did not want to be shipped there! :) Her Aunt Lauren is on Chloe's side and so is her dad whom she never sees, she makes friends with the others at Lyle House.

You have the super nice and friendly, Simon; the one who never smiles, Derek who I thought was biopolar but you'll see that he's not and what everyone truely is; Tori, the queen of the meds and she loves to be obnoxious; Rae, the girl who has a "thing" for fire. As Chloe spends more time she uncovers all the hidden secrets hidden in Lyle House. It was super creepy and still at times funny! I can't believe I took forever to read this!

I loved everything about this book! :P Chloe was super kick ass especially with her powers that explains why the ghost are always attracted to her. DEFINETLY TEAM DEREK! O_O Ooh and Rae was super cool with her abilites with fire and Tori I have no clue why she's there other that being super moody. The action was intense and the eerieness couldn't struck me any better! I devoured it in a day and I have no doubts to re-read it again just for fun!

I loved the scene with Chloe and Simon about the necromancer part along with the video games! It was pages 113-114 and seriously I was laugh so hard! Kelley Armstrong you are so good! Other than the funny scenes, there was the scary, when Chloe and Rae head up to the secret space in the wash room she encounters a ghost. Mrs. Talbot was at times, for me, almost to perfect. I'm guessing we'll see more to her later on. Chloe really took charge and she had an ambition and a goal with other: to escape Lyle House. I so do not want to go there! It would freak me out but still Chloe is tough to be going through all she experiences! She makes a kick ass character!

“Life experience. I can talk it up, vow to broaden my horizons, but I’m still limited to the experiences with my life.

How can a person understand an experience that lies completely outside her own? She can see it, feel it, imagine what it would be like to live it, but it’s no different from seeing a movie on a screen and saying, “Thank God that’s not me”

Deadly Little Vocies-Lauria Faria Stolarz

Deadly Little Voices (Touch, #4)Deadly Little Voices
Date Released: December 6th, 2011
Publisher: Hyperion
Pages: 343 pages
Date Read:  December 18, 2012
Format: Hardcover
Source: Bought from Barnes and Noble
Goodreads Synopsis:  High school junior Camelia thought her powers of psychometry only gave her the ability to sense the future through touch. But now she’s started to hear voices. Mean voices. Berating her, telling her how ugly she is, and that she’d be better off dead. It’s a troubling development that has Camelia terrified for her mental stability, especially since her deranged aunt with a suicidal history just moved into the family house. More torturing, ex-boyfriend Ben, who has similar psychometric abilities, has been spending more time with their classmate Alejandra, even as her own feelings for Adam grow stronger. Still, the bond between Camelia and Ben is palpable.

With the line between right and wrong fraying, Camelia turns to pottery to get a grasp on her emotions. She begins sculpting a beautiful figure skater, only to receive frightening premonitions that someone’s in danger. But who is the victim? And how can Camelia help them when she is on the brink of losing her own sanity?

My Review:
Oooh my goodness this book was amazing, breath-taking, and suspenseful all at the same time! Deadly Little Voices will not disappoint your if you read her other "Touch" novels you know she a writer that knows her stuff!

Camelia was a head-on-strong character. She is already hearing voices just like her Aunt Alexia and she deals with them on a daily basis, her heart is torn for Adam and Ben (will get to them in a sec!) yeah isn't that pretty hardcore and throw in a awesome mystery? Perfection!
To sum up her life it would be like this:

Camelia + Adam=hell yeah! Camelia + Ben = Noo! :( Kimmie and Wes=They should totally go out! Aunt Alexia + Mental Institute=help :/
Ben was pretty swoon worthy but he really kinda got weird in this book, don't you think? I mean he was always forcing Camelia to be safe and all, he got pretty paranoid in this book. Adam, well let me say he is so perfect for Camelia! He has the great looks, the trust, and everything, but there was something about Ben I miss for Camelia like in the first book. Now in this one, he's going out with Alejandra, really Ben?

Yeah Ben...
Yeah Ben....
Everything for Camelia lies on her powers of psychomentry. It gave her to see the future, only know its getting worse. She's hearing vocies that tell her she should be dead and long gone and it takes a big toll on her. Not to mention she's struggling with her social life, Ben[Ex] and Adam. Her Aunt Alexia also moved in and is also experiencing weird conditions also. Now Camelia must get a grip on her "touch" in sculpting a figure skater who she has no clue who it is. And now Camelia is left in the brink of losing her sanity.

I really love Kimmie in this one! She's witty, fun, and I like it when she calls Camelia "Chameleon" I also like how she really gets in Camelia, to stop and tell her friends what's going on with her and did I mention her and Wes are perfect? And Camelia was pretty Kick-ass in this book series. And Adam and Camelia let's swoon again! *Smiles*

Overally this book was amazing! Notting didn't disappoint me and I love Laurie's writing so much! She is a really talented writer! And the end was pretty awesome!

“Jack and Jill ran up the hill, both for a little fun. Jack's plan was deception while Jill sought affection. And Jack wouldn't quit till he won.”

Publisher: Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing
Pages:  341 pages
Date Read: December 24, 2012
Format: Hardcover
Source: Pre-Ordered From Barnes and Noble
Goodreads Synopsis:
Rhine and Gabriel have escaped the mansion, but danger is never far behind.
Running away brings Rhine and Gabriel right into a trap, in the form of a twisted carnival whose ringmistress keeps watch over a menagerie of girls. Just as Rhine uncovers what plans await her, her fortune turns again. With Gabriel at her side, Rhine travels through an environment as grim as the one she left a year ago - surroundings that mirror her own feelings of fear and hopelessness.

The two are determined to get to Manhattan, to relative safety with Rhine’s twin brother, Rowan. But the road there is long and perilous - and in a world where young women only live to age twenty and young men die at twenty-five, time is precious. Worse still, they can’t seem to elude Rhine’s father-in-law, Vaughn, who is determined to bring Rhine back to the mansion...by any means necessary.

In the sequel to Lauren DeStefano’s harrowing Wither, Rhine must decide if freedom is worth the price - now that she has more to lose than ever.
My Review:
First...let me just say how beautiful that cover is! I can't stop staring at it and its just awesomesauce over awesomesauce! :D Can't see what they have for the final book it must be as good! *Eyes gleaming with suspense*
I loved Fever so much it was so damn good! I literally finished it in two days, stayed till 11 p.m to get half-way into it since it was just jaw-dropping good! I just feel in love with Lauren DeStefano's writing again and I so want to meet her! Fever was just as awesome as Wither, survival is high than ever for Rhine and Gabriel, and the suspense is killing! Don't to mention the crazy, heart-breaking, tearful *Picks up tissue to wipe eye after reading the end*  ending that I kept reading over and over realizing Fever ended.

I love everything about this book! The characters were perfect, suspense and action exploded from page to page *Frantic eye look* , and romance with sizzling between Rhine and Gabriel. There wasn't a time where I just wanted to drop the book because it had boring character, low action, no this book made my day better from every page and I was always excited.

Fever immediately starts right where Wither left off, Rhine and Gabriel running from the mansion. Danger and survival is higher than ever because Housemaster Vaughn is somewhat following them on their trail, nowhere is safe. Rhine and Gabriel find themselves in a carnival where girls are watched closely by a mysterious woman, a fortuneteller giving Rhine a glimpse of what life is in a very short amount of time, a lovely couple, allot to keep you entertained.

There's lots of things at stake that make you race till the last page and it will keep you up all night!
Fever is amazing, beautiful, awesomsauce book that is so good! 0.0 Give Wither a try and once you do keep Fever on hand because you will need it ^^

“He kissed back, all the pages spread out around us like riddles waiting to be solved. Let them wait. Let my genes unravel, my hinges come loose. If my fate rests in the hands of a madman, let death come and bring its worse. I'll take the ruined craters of laboratories, the dead trees, this city with ashes in the oxygen, if it means freedom. I'd sooner die here than live a hundred years with wires in my veins.”

“Once upon a time there were two parents, two children, and a brick house with lilies in the yard. The parents died, the lilies wilted. One child disappeared. Then the other." Pg 225”

My Review:

Story of my life reading Clockwork Prince.....

How I was when I got the book....

Hmm..Cassandra Clare you good.. lol :D

How I was when Tessa was torn for Will and Jem. Also the betrayls in this book.

The ending....
Where do I start with this book???!!! I got OCD checking the mailboxes everyday till this book was in my hand. Seriously...I never been so excited for a book and I went overboard with this one! I read all the reviews on it, to make me super excited about it, went ahead and read Clockwork Angel again. All for this final moment 2 days when it was published I got it and I read it instantly! :D

Did Clockwork Prince Deliver?

Cassandra Clare you broke my heart, feelings, and emotions into pages of this book! So so good. Flipping amazing. Clockwork Prince is pure perfection! :)
Definitely!!! Clockwork Prince was way better than Clockwork Angel and was amazing in every way. Cassandra Clare delivers all the dark, sinister streets of Victorian London back with a twist of heart-aching romance and action making you stay up all night to read it.

Wow..Just wow. It blew me away. Clockwork Prince picks up immediately after Clockwork Angel. Charlotte is on line for London's Institute. Tessa is torn between Jem and Will. Everything just on the line for everybody and they all know they aren't safe. Tessa is safe under the Institute, in London. She knows that her brother is somewhere out there, twisted and sick under the mind of Mortamin, and will do anything to get him back with Will and Jem. The three journey to unravel hidden secrets of the past from the slums of a secret party to a abandoned tea house. When they travel to the Yorkshire Manor, Will is faced with a clockwork automon holding a stunning revelation Will knows no one is safe, especially with the Magister out there.

I loved Tessa, Jem , Charolette, Magnus, everyone more and I can't wait to see them in Clockwork Princess! Tessa, she was torn, torn between Jem and Will. This book was like a war for he heart but for the heck of it TEAM WILL!!! There's lots more to both of them in this book and Jem really surprised me in the end! Will really iritated me. I actually thought he was biopolar! Happy for Tessa one time and then getting touching then ending up mad. Really Will?? What's going on with you?? But in the end I was Team Will. Though I have to see if that will change in Clockwork Princess.

The level of action is intense. There's heart-break and betralys that you could never believe! Especially Jessemine! Such a backstabber, but that's all I'm saying about her. Nate? I feel really sad for him in the end but there's a motive to what he's doing in Clockwork Prince and I love how Clare kept it toward the end.

The more I talk about this book I might think I will give spoilers!! Go out, buy this book, and read it the second you get it. Right now. Now! This book will not disapoint and I love the Infernal Devices more than the Mortal Instruments!

P.S Have a box of tissues and something great to eat because your reading for a perfect thrill ride!! :D
This book is so right.
This book is perfection.
I love this book.
Cassie Clare I'm going to punch you because of the ending!! :(
Will.
Jem.
Will.
Jem.
Buy it already.

Perception-Kim Harrington

Perception by Kim Harrignton
Date Released: March 1st 2012
Publisher: Scholastic Point
Pages: 288 pages
Date Read: Feb 10, 2012
Format:  ARC
Source: From publisher inexchange for a review
Goodreads Synopsis: When you can see things others can't, what do you do when someone's watching you?

Everybody knows about Clarity "Clare" Fern. She's the psychic girl in school, the one who can place her hands on something and see hidden visions from the past.

Only Clare would rather not be a celebrity. She prefers hanging back, observing. Her gift is not a game to her.

But then someone starts playing with her head . . . and heart. Messages and gifts from a secret admirer crop up everywhere Clare turns. Could they be from Gabriel, the gorgeous boy who gets Clare's pulse racing? Or from Justin, Clare's hopeful ex-boyfriend who'd do anything to win her back?

One thing is certain. Clare needs to solve this mystery, and soon. Because the messages are becoming sinister, and a girl in town has suddenly disappeared.
My Review:
Perception by Kim Harrington is a quick, witty, sacrastic, suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat type of book. Everything about this book was amazing. I was laughing for a moment then the next page I was being super-paranoid about stalkers and obsessions. Yup, this book has it all and is on the top of my list for 2012 releases! :)
Everything for Clare "Clarity" Fern is one the line. Her growing attraction to Gabriel, who's more than a friend, Justin; the guy that wants her back, her sanity, everything, As she starts getting messages, packages that play with her mind and heart.
But everything changes when a girl goes missing, Sierra Waldman and the town baffled. Clare decided to use her powers for the good and helps undercover what happened to Sierra with the help of Gabriel, Justin, and Mallory her new friend. Mallory for me was really nice at times but yet creeping as if she was watching Clare and was playing with her. She really creeped me out! *Goes inside a blanket* But she really susprised me in the end!
The ending was jaw-dropping, especially with the idea of a stalker following you without you ever figuring it out!! I just loved the ending! And this book really gave me the chills and paranoia of stalkers...just saying! lol
This book really changed my perspective on stalkers. They are real and they do kill people over a deep obsession. They can take pcitures of you, take small things you don't even notice. Its insane and things like that really happen! I read Lauria Faria Stolarz's Toouch novels and they are really creepy! I loved Perception and would totally read it again! :D

And yes I agree with the frog...

13 Reasons Why-Jay Asher

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Date Released:  October 18th, 2011
Publisher: Razorbill

Pages:  288 pages
Date Read: January 24,2012
Format:  Paperback
Source: Rented from the library
Goodreads Synopsis: Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers thirteen cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker, his classmate and crush who committed suicide two weeks earlier.
My Review:

Where do I even start with this book? It's just beautifully devastating. So here I go with my review and hopefully I get  what I want to say out! :D

Clay's life is normal till her receives a package in his front steps of his house after school.  Clay thinks its some practical jokes but really it real. Its his used-to-be friend Hannah Baker, her last words till she took her own life, like her own diary without the paper and ink. Clay listens to the cassettes, hearing the truths on why Hannah ended her life. The 13 Reason Why.

Each tape really freaked out Clay. If he was one of the reasons when will he be mentioned? Even with a bittersweet, far-away romance, Clay doesn't know why he is a reason.

There everything starts...Through the whole book I was fighting for Hannah the whole time. She deserved to live, to see the world thought a  different way. The world was all ready to much to handle and the pain had to stop. Then you realize..Hannah is DEAD! People out there in the world do the same thing Hannah does, but you can be that person that can stop them from doing suicide. You can save a person's life. The reason Hannah ended her life was because she wasn't strong enough. Strong enough to say something or not act based on what the circumstances are.

Jay Asher weaves a beautiful debut novel that will leave you breathless and make you realize that things like suicide is a tough issue but you shouldn't shove it under the rug and hope things get better. This book makes you see things from a new eye. Suicide. Death. Reasons. A hearth-aching novel, valuable, its a book you can't get out of your mind. Its amazing!

“A lot of you cared, just not enough.”

“You don’t know what goes on in anyone’s life but your own. And when you mess with one part of a person’s life, you’re not messing with just that part. Unfortunately, you can’t be that precise and selective. When you mess with one part of a person’s life, you’re messing with their entire life. Everything. . . affects everything.”

Tweet Review:
Real, True, and honest 13 Reason Why by Jay Asher is amazing and hearth-aching in every way! It will leave you fighting for Hannah, the main character and realize once you can save a person from committing that last straw: suicide.

On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out how he made the list.
Through Hannah and Clay's dual narratives, debut author Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.

Clean-Amy Reed

Clean by Amy Reed
Date Released: May 8th 2012
Publisher: Simon Pulse
Pages: 288 pages
Date Read: January 24, 2012
Format: Hardcover

Goodreads Sypnosis:
You’re probably wondering how I ended up here. I’m still wondering the same thing.
Olivia, Kelly, Christopher, Jason, and Eva have one thing in common: They're addicts. Addicts who have hit rock bottom and been stuck together in rehab to face their problems, face sobriety, and face themselves. None of them wants to be there. None of them wants to confront the truths about their pasts. And they certainly don’t want to share their darkest secrets and most desperate fears with a room of strangers. But they'll all have to deal with themselves and one another if they want to learn how to live. Because when you get that high, there's nowhere to go but down, down, down.

My Review:

Clean by Amy Reed was suprisingly good! I heard very little things about Clean by Amy Reed, so when I saw it at my library I had to try it out for myself. I finished this book in one sitting because it was true, real, and honest. There something about people dealing with intense problems like being addicts really got to me and maybe that's why I enjoyed Clean! ;) The book was also written ina fun, quirky way it was easy to read!

Life is hard for Jason, Christopher, Eva, Olivia, and Kelly since they are addicts. Clean showed how each one started with the drugs and pills to feel the numbness took them straight to rehab. Kelly, Jason, and Olivia really stood out to me. There was something that I could sense that really got into my skin with how they ended up the way they are. It really made me want to see them move away from the drugs and I was voting for them all the way, if they makes sense. *looks around*

Clean should be read my every teenager facing things like the choice to take drugs and pills to realize that by doing that your only heading straight to rehab and losing your sanity.
This book was just amazing in every way and I'm excited for what Amy Reed has next!! :P Giving it 4 stars!! :D A book for fans of Ellen Hopkins verse novels!

“Nothing made me the way I am. Nothing but me.”

“What if I'm so broken I can never do something as basic as feed myself? Do you realize how twisted that is? It amazes me sometimes that humans still exist. We're just animals, after all. And how can an animal get so removed from nature that it loses the instinct to keep itself alive?”

Juliette hasn't touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal. As long as she doesn't hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don't fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war-- and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she's exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

In this electrifying debut, Tahereh Mafi presents a world as riveting as The Hunger Games and a superhero story as thrilling as The X-Men. Full of pulse-pounding romance, intoxicating villainy, and high-stakes choices, Shatter Me is a fresh and original dystopian novel—with a paranormal twist—that will leave readers anxiously awaiting its sequel.

My Review:
Shatter Me was a additive, stunning, sexy, dysoptian debut that will leave you breathless after page one! It was riveting, gripping, and absolutely mesmerising! Tahereh Mafi weaves a book so good, you want to savor every sentence, word and page one hooked me!

Did you see that cover??? So flipping amazing! And the trailer????!!! Once I saw it I immediately bought it the day it came and I normally don't do that but this book...I NEEEDED IT!!!

The writing? Do I need to say anything? Its AMAZING. It flows so well and I experience a whole new sensation reading this book! It was flawless and beautifully written, Tahereh Mafi is only 23. Unbelievable right??? Everything pieces in and its hard to believe its her debut novel!. Seriously go out and buy this book. Right now.

Juliette hasn't touch another human being in exactly 264 days. She's looked up in an asylum where the Reestablishment treats her like a monster, with a curse, and they tell her locking her up was the best thing. Juliette is a strong, tough, I-have-plans-of-my-on type of heroine. She plans to escape and flee to a world she wouldn't have for once be judged.
She's counting the days, hours, second in small notebook hidden in a crevice of her cell.

Then the unexpected happens. [Yep the romance.] Adam Kent. ADAM. ADAM. He was the perfect guy for Juliette. I can't remember the times I was reading this and swooning over the scorching romance scenes. It was beautiful. It was like cookies and milk when you eat them it melts with perfection, that's how the romance is. I can't believe how easily I loved Adam and Juliette....PERFECT!!!!!!!!! :D Adam was a tought, swoony, heart-pounding guy. There was something about him that maded all YA romance novel guy not the same at all.

Warner. Warner was convincing and intrigiung each time he spoke and him personally. He can really twist your mind and make you think of yourself as a lethal weapon, like he did for Juliette. I actually liked him. Odd right? Well, he really jumped between the lines of a romantic, supper evil villan.
Juliette stood up to him. She was a total bad ass, with the power to take down people with a slight touch of her hands. Don't tell me that's not total kick-ass power! Think of her clawing through four walls of concrete and glass. Imaginative! Best Dysoptian ever. Period.

I can't stop thinking or shwoing off this book! It was PERFECTION. Perfect. Perfect. I can't stop saying how awesome this book is! I'm actually reading it for the second time beacuse I can't get enough of it and me praising alll about it! This book was delicious throiughtout, crispy in the edges, and a slice of stunning perfection! I cannott stop looking at that cover!

Here's the must-see trailler:

I'm dying of excitement!
