Goodreads Synopsis:  When Marshall King and Elyse Alton suddenly wake up tangled in each other's arms with zero memory of how they got there or even who they are, it's the start of a long journey through their separate pasts and shared future.

Terrified by their amnesia, Marshall and Elyse make a pact to work together to find the answers that could restore their missing memories. As they piece together clues about their lives, they discover that they're in the idyllic mountain resort town of Summer Falls. Everyone seems happy there, but as Marshall and Elyse quickly learn, darkness lurks beneath the town's perfect facade. Not only is the town haunted by sinister ghosts, but none of its living inhabitants retain bad memories of anything--not the death of Marshall's mom, not the hidden violence in Elyse's family, not even the day-to-day anguish of being a high schooler.

Lonely in this world of happy zombies, Marshall and Elyse fall into an intense relationship founded on their mutual quest for truth. But the secrets they're trying to uncover could be the death of this budding love affair--and of everyone, and everything, they love in Summer Falls.

My Review:
Tagline: "In Summer Fall, everyone has a secret buried in a town built by lies"

Glimmer was completely a book I did not see coming at al, literally, in a good way! It was complex, intense, and a roller coaster of secrets and lies. And to tell you, this book was no zombies. Also, it left me completely hanging by a thread in the end, it was that good. Plus if you love amnesia books this one is for you!

Right away, the story starts with a boy and a girl together in bed naked. They have no idea why they got here and what they did and they are full of questions. Now, Elyse (Her) and Marshall (Him) have to find why they are here in Summer Falls and many more unanswered questions throughout the whole book. Summer Falls was the perfect setting crafted for this book. It's a town where warm weather stays throughout the whole year and citizens fall into "heatnaps".  Summer Falls was a town where everything was completely perfect no matter what. I loved how Marshall and Elyse interacted in the book, they discover so many secrets piled up in Summer Falls and work their way around the ghost that dominate the town. Yes..I said ghost. *nods head* The ghost walk all around town , without any of the people noticing them, and with a touch the people of Summer Falls, fall into a deep slumber. When the wake they find themselves with no bad memories, nothing wrong with what is secretly going on. Just as Elyse and Marshall was engrossed in finding what's wrong with summer falls they also find what the town worked.

I complelely liked this book a lot! It was a perfect book to read on a rainy day with all the suspense that keeps you turing the pages. Phoebe instantly introduces you to a bunch of ideas and supsense that makes you want to finally know the answer just from the start She also magically weaves in magic into Glimmer which was to be honestly cool!

Along with some kick-ass heroine and heroes, magic, and heatnaps; they was something real and honest about the romance with Elyse and Marshall. I love how they worked together with their uncovering, discoveries, and moments! It was so unqiue and a little boggling but I liked it a lot and definitly something you don't normally see in YA!

All in all, you will be hooked and captiviated into the aloof world of Summer Falls, you've got some pretty awesome main characters, magic, and a maze of questions, you can't ask more! Go ahead and grab this book soon and it's a Stand-a-lone!
