Top Ten Tuesday (#4) - Top Ten Books When You Need Something Light & Fun

op Ten Tuesday Is Hosted @ The Brooke And The Bookish!

Today's Theme is: Top Ten Books When You Need Something Light & Fun. I love this pick for this week and we all look for a great read that is fun and light. Here are my picks in no particular order:

Top 10 Books When You Need Something Light and Fun:

The Hex Hall Series by Rachel Hawkins
I love love these books and Rachel so much! Sophie is such a fun character and she has spunk and wit that makes you laugh! There's enjoy fun and suspense for a light read :)

Rival by Sara Bennett Wealer
This book is so amazing! The rivalry and competition between two girls in this book was off the charts! I LOVED this! Pick it up if you're a fan of rivalry and music.

The Fine Art of Truth or Dare by Melissa Jensen
The first time I picked this one up, I feel completely in love with it! It has tender characters, an ease, and is just a fun book to pick up!

Pretty Crooked by Elisa Ludwig
Where do I start with this one?! I loved Pretty Crooked! It was a mix of modern day Robin Hood that was actually done well in my opinion! I so can't wait to pick up the next one soon...if I have time..which I hope :)

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
There is no wrong picking  a vampire book for this right? Well if there isn't, Bloodlines is a great light and fun read! Sydney Sage, the main character is so fun and hilarious, it's such a treat picking this book up!

Belles by Jen Calonita
Belles is one of those reads those reads you devour in a sitting, which I completely did! The writing was fast paced and I love the characters including the plot line.

The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Selection by Kiera Cass was those types of books that has such an awesomsauce cover that makes you pick it up the second your eyes are dead set on it. Pick this one up, no need to say anything more!

The Name of This Book Is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch
Even though this is not a YA title, I love this series so much! It's witty, exciting, and such a classic I always read the whole series every year.

The Look by Sophia Bennett
One of my recent reads a while back, The Look was a one seat devourer! Everything about it was perfect and I so can't wait to see what Sophia Bennett has in store in the future :D

Anything by Sara Dessen :)

Now..what's YOUR Top Ten Tuesday? :)

  5. Honestly, I have zero desire to read The Selection. I have heard good things about it but a main character whose name is America Singer and lives in America and sings has no appeal for me. On the other hand, i've been wanting to read the Hex Hall series for a while now so i'll pick that one up soon!

  6. I loved Vampire Academy but haven't read Bloodlines yet, mainly because I wasn't a massive fan of Sydney in VA. I should check it out though.
